How it works

How the estimate is calculated

The calculator does not use a hidden formula. It maps your choices to the published packages on our service pages and adds up the ranges. For an Android app, each feature you tick carries a small weight, and the total decides which package fits: a focused Starter App, a Full-Featured App with a custom backend and notifications, or an Enterprise App with complex integrations.

For websites, the choice is simpler: a brochure site, a business site with a blog or CMS, or a store or custom web app. If you pick custom screens or a full design system, the matching UI/UX design package is added. All figures are the starting ranges for your region, shown in PKR, SAR or USD.

What drives the cost of an app

Almost every cost difference between two apps comes from a handful of decisions made early. Understanding them helps you control the budget before any code is written.

  • Payments and accounts. Anything involving money or personal data needs more design, more testing and more careful compliance than a read-only app.
  • Real-time features. Chat, live tracking and collaboration need a backend that stays connected and handles failure well, which is more work than screens that load once.
  • Integrations. Each external service (a payment provider, a CRM, hardware) adds contracts, edge cases and testing.
  • Custom design. A designed experience with prototypes costs more than a clean template, and usually pays back in how people use the product.
  • Backend choice. Firebase gets many apps to launch quickly. A custom backend suits unusual data models or heavy business logic.

How to use your number

Treat the result as a planning range. If it fits your budget, the next step is to describe the real scope. Our project brief generator helps you write it down clearly, and the brief builder on our contact page sends it to an engineer who replies within one business day.

If the range is above your budget, remove features rather than quality. A smaller first release that works well is easier to improve than a large one that is shaky. Ask which two or three features carry the product and launch with those.

What the calculator does not include

Several costs sit outside a development estimate, and they are worth planning for:

  • Store fees. A Google Play developer account has a one-time registration fee.
  • Hosting and services. Cloud hosting, databases, notifications and third-party APIs can have monthly costs that grow with usage.
  • Content and assets. Photography, copy, translations and licensed material are separate from engineering.
  • Maintenance. Apps need updates for new Android versions and security fixes. Our packages include a 30-day warranty, and maintenance plans are available afterwards.
  • Marketing. Getting users takes budget of its own.
