App: CV Maker & Resume Builder (com.hhhdeveloper.swiftpdf). Developers: Hamza Fazal and Dr. Wazir Ahmed. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
1. Your documents stay on your device
We do not run servers that receive your files. PDFs, resumes (personal details, work history, education, skills, projects), profile photos, scans, recognised text and translations are created, edited and stored only on your phone. We cannot see them, and we do not sell or share them. This covers every feature:
- PDF tools (merge, split, compress, convert, watermark, protect, unlock, edit pages).
- The CV builder, its templates and exports to PDF and Word.
- Scanning and text recognition (OCR), searchable PDFs, and editing or translating text on an image.
- Profile photo tools (face detection, automatic crop, background clean-up and enhancement).
2. On-device AI features
The app uses Google ML Kit models that run on your phone:
- Text recognition reads text from images and scans.
- Face detection and selfie segmentation find the face and separate the person from the background so the app can crop your CV photo. The photo is not sent anywhere, and no face data is stored beyond the cropped photo you choose to keep.
- Language identification and translation translate text found on an image. The text is translated on the phone.
Some features need a one-time download of a model file: translation language models (about 30 MB per language) come from Google, and optional Arabic/Urdu reading packs come from the public Tesseract repository on GitHub. Downloading a model sends a normal network request (for example your IP address) to that provider, but never your documents or text.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): banner ads, interstitial ads after some tasks, a rewarded interstitial ad you can choose to watch to unlock features or remove ads for a while, and an app-open ad when the app starts (never on the very first launch).

Google acts under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation in Android Settings > Google > Ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK) Google's consent message lets you choose how your data is used for ads.
4. Permissions

We do not request location, contacts, microphone, SMS or full-storage access.
5. Information we do receive
- Feedback you send: if you email us (Settings > Send feedback), we receive your email address and the message. The email draft also includes the app version, Android version and device model to help us fix problems. You can delete that text before sending.
- Google Play: Google may give us aggregated statistics, ratings and crash reports through Google Play Console.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Your files and CV drafts stay on your phone until you delete them. Delete a file from Files in the app, or use your file manager.
- To remove everything the app stores (drafts, history, settings), use Android Settings > Apps > CV Maker & Resume Builder > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Exported files in
Documents/CVForgecan be deleted separately. - Because we do not hold your documents, there is nothing on our side to delete. For ad data held by Google, use your Google account's ad settings.
7. Children
The app is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given information to an advertising partner through the app, contact us and we will help.
8. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)
Because your content never reaches us, we do not process it as a controller. You can access, correct, export and erase your content directly in the app. For data processed by Google AdMob, you can exercise your rights through your Google account and Google's ad controls. You may also contact us with any privacy question.
9. Security
Keeping processing on your device avoids sending your documents over the network. You can protect PDFs with a password inside the app. Please also protect your phone with a screen lock.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
