1. Overview & Developer Identity
Welcome to Class 9 & 10 MCQs: Board Exam (also known as Matric Guru), developed by HHH Developer and published in partnership with DEESU's D.TEN educational division (Application Package ID: com.hhhdevelpoer.learning).
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the limited personal information collected through our mobile application. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, why we need it, how it is safeguarded, and how you can exercise full control over your personal data at any time.
By downloading, installing, or using the application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, you can use the app offline or request immediate account deletion.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect data that is strictly necessary to deliver a seamless, personalized board exam study experience:
2.1 Account & Profile Information (Optional)
You can use the entire application in Guest Mode without signing up or providing an email address. If you choose to create a cloud account (via Google Firebase Authentication), we collect your Name and Email Address solely to sync your study progress, scores, and bookmarks across devices.
2.2 Quiz & Academic Progress Data
To help you prepare effectively for board exams (FBISE, Punjab, Sindh, and KPK Boards), the app records:
- Your quiz scores, practice test history, and completion percentages by subject.
- Saved question bookmarks, review lists, and custom revision tags.
- Daily study streaks and active study session metrics.
- App preferences, such as selected grade (Class 9 or 10) and chosen subjects.
2.3 Voice & Audio Input (Hands-Free Quiz Mode)
The app includes an optional hands-free voice feature where questions are read aloud and you can speak your answer ("Option 1", "Option B", "Repeat", "Next"). Audio is processed in real-time locally on your device using standard Android speech recognition APIs. We never record, store, upload to remote servers, or share your voice audio.
2.4 Diagnostics & Anonymous Identifiers
We collect standard anonymous technical metrics (device model, Android OS version, crash logs, and Google Advertising ID) to resolve software bugs and deliver relevant non-intrusive advertisements.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
To keep the application completely free for all students and provide cloud authentication, we integrate trusted industry-standard SDKs provided by Google LLC:
| Service | Provider | Purpose & Data Processed |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Google LLC | Serves banner and interstitial advertisements between study sessions. Uses anonymous device identifiers and advertising ID. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time via Android Settings → Google → Ads. |
| Firebase Authentication | Google LLC | Secures account sign-in with email/password and encrypts user authentication tokens. |
| Cloud Firestore | Google LLC | Stores your study statistics, question bookmarks, and test history in secure cloud databases. |
For more information on how Google handles data, please review Google's Privacy & Terms .
4. Device Permissions & Why We Need Them
The app only requests standard Android runtime permissions that directly power study features:
| Permission | Category | Why It Is Required |
|---|---|---|
android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO | Microphone | Required exclusively for the optional hands-free voice-answering feature. Active only while voice mode is running. |
android.permission.INTERNET | Network | Needed to fetch new question banks, sync quiz scores to Firebase, and display ads. |
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Network | Allows the app to check whether Wi-Fi or mobile data is available before attempting cloud sync. |
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS | Notifications | Used on Android 13+ to send daily exam study reminder notifications at your chosen time. |
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | System | Re-registers your local study reminder alarms if your phone restarts, so you don't miss exam revision. |
android.permission.VIBRATE | Haptics | Provides gentle tactile feedback when selecting MCQ options. |
