PDFs, documents and CV exports are saved in Documents/CVForge. Exported page images are saved in Pictures/CVForge. You can also find them in the Files tab of the app.

Delete single files from the Files tab (three-dot menu > Delete). To remove everything the app stores, use Android Settings > Apps > CV Maker & Resume Builder > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Exported files in Documents/CVForge must be deleted separately.

Yes. Everything works offline. Internet is needed only for ads, and for the one-time download of translation languages and optional Arabic/Urdu reading packs.

Open Tools > CV Builder (or the card on Home), choose Create new CV, pick a template, fill in the sections (personal details, summary, experience, education, skills, projects, certifications, languages) and tap Preview & export. Your CV is saved automatically as you type.

Yes. Open the CV, use the Template row in the Design card and tap another template. All your data is kept. If the new template has no photo, your photo is hidden, not deleted.

ATS-friendly templates use a simple structure and real text that applicant tracking systems can read. Plain templates such as ATS Plain and ATS Standard are the safest choice when you apply through online job portals.

Go to Personal details > Change photo, choose a photo from the gallery or take one. The app finds your face, straightens and crops a headshot, and lets you clean up the background (white, light gray or a tint of your accent colour) and enhance the picture. Drag and pinch to fine-tune, then tap Use photo.

The photo section only appears for templates that show a photo. Switch template to one marked Photo to use it.

Use a clear, front-facing photo with good light. If several people are in the photo, tap the right face. You can also continue and move the crop by hand.

Yes. On the export screen choose PDF or Word, and A4 or US Letter. PDFs keep real, selectable text. The Word file keeps your content and sections with your accent colour.

When content does not fit, the app first tightens the spacing slightly, then adds a page. Shorten descriptions, or choose a compact template such as Tech Pro, to fit one page.

A few templates are unlocked for 24 hours after you watch one rewarded ad. You can also watch an ad to remove ads for a while.

Tap the centre Scan button and choose Scan to text or Import image / PDF. Review the pages, tap Read text, then edit, copy, share or save the result as TXT, Word or PDF.

Latin-script languages (English, French, German, Spanish and more) are built in. Arabic and Urdu need a one-time offline pack that the app offers to download. Choose Auto to let the app decide.

Use a sharp, well-lit, straight photo and the document scanner. Words the app is unsure about are highlighted so you can fix them before saving. Handwriting is only partly supported.

Scanned PDFs are pictures of pages. Use Make PDF searchable to add an invisible text layer.

Tap Scan > Edit or translate text on an image (also in a file's three-dot menu and in the OCR result menu). Tap a text block to change it, or tap Translate and choose a language. The old text is erased and the new text is drawn on the picture. Use Before / after to compare, then save as JPG, PNG or a searchable PDF.

Each language needs a one-time model download (about 30 MB). Connect once, then that language works offline.

Passwords cannot be recovered. You need the password to unlock a PDF.

Yes. Open the Tools tab: Organize (merge, split, edit pages), Optimize (compress), Convert (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and images to or from PDF) and Protect (lock, unlock, watermark).

PDFs that are already optimised, or that contain mostly text, cannot shrink much. Try a higher compression level.

Ads keep the app free. You see a banner, an occasional full-screen ad after finishing a task, and an app-open ad when the app starts. There are no ads on the first launch.

Open Settings and watch a rewarded ad. Ads are removed for one hour, and premium templates unlock for 24 hours.

Close other apps, free some storage and try again. Very large scans and PDFs with hundreds of pages need more memory.
